The MidAtlantic Fiber Association

July 20-23, 2017

Millersville University, Millersville, Pa.

Welcome to the Mid-Atlantic region’s premier fiber art workshop weekend hosted by the MidAtlantic Fiber Association (MAFA).Workshops

Come for a workshop for an in-depth learning experience in weaving, spinning, dyeing, felting, and/or other fiber-related arts–or come for the day.

Over the two-and-a-half-day event, you’ll meet creative people from around the world and be inspired by their ideas and projects.

The MAFA cMadelyn van der Hoogtonference begins with a keynote by Madelyn van der Hoogt, followed by a juried fashion show and reception.

Weekend highlights include the Fashion Showcase and Sample Exchange exhibits, a sample exchange, and open studio visits.

The Marketplace will host a bevy of fiber-related activities–access to quality fiber and equipment suppliers, educational seminars, demonstrations, knit- and spin-ins and much more–and it’s all open to the public and free. Parking is free, too.
